Weekends and Stat dats 8am – 9pm
Every request will receive courteous attention at all times but we would appreciate the observance of these hours unless the matter is an emergency. Guests wishing to depart prior to 7.30am asked to settle their accounts the previous evening.

Check In/Check Out Times
Check In time is from 2.00pm - Check Out time is 10.00am

A late check out may be arranged with management but depending on availability and servicing requirements a late check-out is not always possible, so we ask that you notify Reception as soon as possible should you wish to stay any later than 10.00am on the morning of departure. An extra charge may apply.

Breakfast
Menus are in suites or available from reception. Please fill in and leave at Reception by 8.00pm previous evening.

Newspapers
Both the Taranaki Daily News and NZ Herald are complimentary but need to be ordered at the Office before 8pm each night.

Milk
Will be supplied daily to your suite – a small amount of extra milk is available from Reception on request.

Servicing
Fresh towels, toilet paper and soap will be supplied daily. We have a policy here at Brougham Heights to try and conserve our natural resources, so if you are happy to reuse your towels, then please re-hang them on the heated towel rail. If you would like fresh ones, please place them in the bath.

Laundry
Automatic washing machine and dryer available in Guest Laundry which is situated opposite reception. Soap Powder is available from the office at a small charge. Irons and Ironing Boards can be found in all rooms. A clothes line is situated by Unit 18 for guest use.

Heating
All units have air-conditioning for cooling and heating.

Electricity
Standard NZ current 230/240 volts/AC.

Television
To change channels use remote. (Please do not adjust TV’s Manually).

Telephone
Instructions are on each phone.  There is a charge for both local and toll calls. There is also a 50c charge for 0800 and 083210 calls, this is for the use of the line, not the cost of the call.

Internet
We now have wireless high speed internet. Instructions for use are in your compendium. This can be paid for with either your credit card, or scratchy cards can be purchased from the office (prices in the compendium) If you don’t have built in wireless, an access point is available from reception. Dial up is still available also from each unit.

To connect to your Internet Provider (ISP) you need to dial 9 followed by the number. Note that most NZ based ISP’s use 087 or 0867 numbers. As we are a business these are charged at local rates.

Remember to dial 9 before the number, a coma is sometimes required also. If you have trouble connecting please call your service provider on the following free phone number.

Restaurants
There are a number of restaurants in close proximity to Brougham Heights and if you wish some will charge your meal back to your account at Brougham Heights. There will be a booking fee of $2.00 for this facility. Please present your room key at restaurant.

Taxis
Phone 759 2292. Taxi will be ordered automatically or 7573000 if you wish to speak to operator.

Cancellation Policy
Credit card numbers are required to confirm all booking.
We require 48 hours notice for cancellation, however a 72hr cancellation policy may be applied for group bookings and events. If this is not received and the guest does not arrive then one nights accommodation may be charged.
Minimum night stay and peak season rates may apply. If a guest choses to leave prior to original departure date a refund is at management discretion.
