Beryl & Colin started the business in August 1995 with 100% occupancy on the first night.  They run the motel until January 2001 when Deborah and Mo took over as managers.

Beryl and Colin built up the business from scratch and were very successful at what they did.  Deborah and  Mo (daughter and son-in-law) have tried to continue on in the same fashion.  We live on site with our two daughters and lead a very busy life.

We have made some great friends out of the guests that stay here with us at the motel.  In April 2003 we bought into the motel in partnership with Beryl and Colin and we have gone from strength to strength.

Brougham Heights is in an ideal position right in the middle of the city which allows guests to be able to walk around the city.  Reps find this very convenient for the appointments and our domestic visitors love it because they can get to the foreshore, Pukekura Park, our shopping centre and all cafes and restaurants.
